About Us

I have been a life long entrepreneur.  Ran a successful t-shirt business in college, had a chain of retail stores, a restaurant along with many other ventures.

As the years have gone by, I realized one thing: Business owners always seemed to get the short end of the stick, especially with regards to a viable and efficient way of advertising and marketing.

Call a local newspaper to run a small Sunday ad, $1200, magazines $2000, radio-only $150 per month but your ad is run at 4am, TV-yeah right.  Then after spending all that money, you would stare at your door waiting and hoping that this would be the one to hit big. 

Last year I started getting involved with some internet ventures. Did a cool B2C called 611marketplace.com and started development of a more relevant search engine, both geared to help small biz connect with consumers more effectively.

Most recently, I have begun work on KaChoom.com, which will replace the 611 site while being more interactive, engaging and keying on small business branding.

All along, I have met and employed many great designers and developers, many who were barely making ends meet.  And I decided, why not try help these people while creating a viable and efficient means for small biz owners to market their goods/services. Affordable SEO, marketing and branding solutions for small business owners.

So, that was basically the thought process behind this site Alamead.com which is dedicated and named after my two darling daughters.
